Amethyst Koh is a Singapore-based aspiring artist and is currently pursuing a diploma in Fine Art at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Amethyst has been awarded the NAFA's Dean's List Award and the Chip Eng Seng Bursary award (Diploma) in 2020.

She began her artistic journey in secondary school after discovering her innate aptitude for art and subsequently, her passion for art. Born in Myanmar and having spent 2 years of her childhood in Thailand before moving to Singapore, Amethyst is familiar and in touch with the cultures of many different Southeast Asian countries and it reflects in some of her works.

Amethyst mostly works with graphite pencil and black ink pen to create her works, and occasionally wet media and charcoal. She creates works speaking of her personal experiences with a social message she hopes to share with her audience.
